Esta sinagoga fue construida a principios del siglo XX, siendo la quinta erigida en este lugar. Esto se debió al constante crecimiento numérico de la comunidad. De los 4.000 judíos que habían en la ciudad al comenzar la guerra, solo 1.000 sobrevivieron.
Hoy en día en la ciudad residen unos 400 judíos.
Novi Sad Schull, Serb. This synagogue was built at the beginning of 29th century, being the fifth erected in this place. This was due to the constant numerical growth of the community. Of the 4,000 Jews that were in the city in the beginning of the war, just 1,000 survived. Nowadays reside in the city about 400 Jews.
